Bob Kleinschmidt
President

Bob Kleinschmidt is a client focused leadership and organization development consultant, facilitator and leadership coach with expertise in leadership and team development, conflict resolution, organizational change management and talent management processes.  He partners with clients by utilizing a structured process for goal development, needs discovery and creation of customized interventions that produce improved organizational effectiveness.  He is the creator and facilitator of formal and informal learning experiences and workshops geared toward executives, managers and employees to enhance individual and team dynamics, processes and outcomes with very positive feedback ratings.

Prior to launching his full time independent coaching and consulting practice Bob led the corporate leadership development function at Exelon Corporation, a Fortune 90 company and the leading US competitive energy provider with 35,000 employees nationwide.  He oversaw Exelon’s corporate leadership development initiatives for all levels of leadership with participants from all six of the Exelon operating companies.  Prior to joining Exelon, Bob was a team leader at the Johns Hopkins University for 13 years with responsibility for organization development, talent management and leadership development services in the Schools of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing.

 

He has worked with a variety of other organizations including: Black & Decker, Baltimore City Mayors Office, Baltimore City Schools, Stoney Brook University, Franklin Square Hospital, the US Navy, the Department of Commerce and the National Institutes of Health.  In addition to his consulting work, Bob has also served as an adjunct faculty member in the MBA program at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.

 

Bob earned an M.S. in Clinical Counseling and an M.S. in Organization Development & Strategic Human Resources from the Johns Hopkins University.  He is a certified Leadership Coach by Linkage Inc.  Bob facilitates individual and group administration of Crucial Conversations workshops, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), Strong Interest Inventory (SII), Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI), Strengths Deployment Inventory (SDI), DiSC, PDI PROFILOR and the Lominger VOICES 360 management assessments.  Bob is also a proud member of the Executive Coaching Roundtable.
